Hi! I'm Theresa. I'm an artist, a sister, a wife and a teacher. This past August, I began my second year of teaching first grade. Can I just say that I LOVE it?!! This is such a fun age group! So many exciting things happen during this year. (Loose teeth, learning to tie shoe laces, beginning to read chapter books, adding two-digit numbers, etc...) So much growth and progress can be witnessed from the start to the end of a first grade school year. It really is amazing! At this age, the kids are inquisitive about everything and they're just plain fun! In a nutshell, first grade is just plain, SWEET! (;
I'm creating this blog so I can document and share my journey as a first grade teacher and all of the struggles and triumphs that I encounter. Thank you for joining me on this sweet adventure!
Alright, that's it for now folks. I don't know if I'll become a daily or even weekly blogger. It is certainly something to aspire to though! I will try my best to hop on here as frequently as I can though.
